Dark ruby red in color with a strong smell of fruit.  Medium bodied. 

Starts off with a rush of fruit, but a strong taste of acidity overpowers any sweetness.  

Although it has very soft tannins with only a slight hint of dryness, it has a rough finish, especially at the top of the throat.  A short to moderately long finish, with not too much of the

Decent.  Not the best Zin I've had.  The slight acidity somewhat overpowers the fruit.  But it works well with foods and is soft enough to drink on its own.
