Deep, mostly opaque burgundy color. Fairly strong flavor of alcohol at first. After letting it sit for a moment, the alcohol softens and nearly disappears.
The wine has very soft, if barely noticable tannins. It's not dry at all. But overall, I'd say it's not very strong or flavorful for a cab, and rather bland.
I'd say this is a very drinkable Cab on its own, not even necessarily with a meal. It is lacking in any robust flavors or smells, but it's a decent wine.
I bought this at the winery for $15 at the President's Club Discount. Sadly, I see it now at BevMo for $20 during their nickel sale, which will come to $10 a bottle. I think I'll get a few from BevMo given that this is a soft Cab I can drink moving forward.
