I've seen the Estancia winery in Soledad on drives heading down the 101. Saw this on sale at BevMo for their 5 cent sale and decided to give it a try.
It's a 2002 Pinot Noir from their Pinnacles Ranches, probably somewhere around the Pinnacles National Monument.
A light ruby color, and a fairly light wine. It actually has a nice sweetness to it, although Can’t really say I smell or taste too much fruit.. or anything to it. Its slight sweetness and soft finish though makes it drinkable on its own though.
375mL bottle regularly priced at $11. I got this for $5.50.
